Representing #254 Kenya meet Hellen Jerono also known as Heyl.
She is young, ambitious and very talented in the modeling industry. As i
did get the chance to have a short conversation with her this weekend,

Me:- What is your name?
Hellen:- My name is Hellen
Jerono, my friends call me Heyl.
Me:- How old are you?
Hellen:- I'm 22 years old.
Me:- How long have you
been in the modeling industry?
Hellen:- I have been in the modeling industry for 3years now.
Me:- What inspired you
to be a model?
Hellen:- Since I was young I really enjoyed watching fashion shows
and I promised myself that one day I'll become a model. As I grew up almost
everyone was suggesting that I become a model, so I gave it a try and here I
am. All that really inspired me apart from the fact that I love fashion and i
love expressing myself through way of dressing.
Me:- What type of
modeling are you doing?
Hellen:- Currently I'm a High Fashion model/Runway model. I'm also an
Editorial, commercial and Print model
Me:- What are your targets
5 years to come?
Hellen:- I have really been working hard and as we all know hard work
doesn't go unpaid. So in the next 5 year I see myself as a top model whereby
I'll be doing international shows and even organizing my own shows in order to
support upcoming models in the industry.
Me:- What challenges do
you face as a young upcoming model?
Hellen:- A lot of challenges but the greatest one will be falling
prey to fake agencies whereby they're only interested in ripping off models
money or you may work with them and end up not getting paid. So this goes out
to the aspiring models, you really need to be careful out here. Know who you
work for and ensure that they're legit, in short do research and by that I mean
thorough research
